The Elephant Parade is assembled in the grounds of the Royal 

Hospital in all its splendour. There are hundreds of people wandering about,

 apparently trying to make up their collection. All the elephants are

 being touched up (no!!!!!! not that way) ready for sale, and it is quite 

the party atmosphere. And of course I went round and photographed each one
